So, after seeing my sisters and cousins pages I thought to myself, "Why not start one as well?" Okay, I know copycat!!! But still at 21 I still feel it necessary to follow what my big sister is doing. No really, I am serious. Okay, not really. But still. Really.
Moving on, Chris and I have been together for a little over 3 years (yay! Who cares right? Humm, I do.) Anywho, we met October 17th, 2005 and started dating the a week later and have been together ever since. We got engaged November 1st 2008! See my ring!
Chris picked it himself!! We were on a train up in Utica, New York for our aforementioned anniversary, I had been bugging him and asking him when were going to get engaged, he kept telling me not for awhile. Well little did I know that, that weekend we were away he was going to ask me! Well there we were on the Adirondack railroad, we went to a dinner show at the Buffalo Head Restaurant, in Forestport, NY(http://www.buffaloheadrestaurant.com/home.html). On our way back to Utica I was feeling pretty sick, so Chris asked if I wanted to the back of the train, the cargo area was open on our way home, so I said sure. We went back, at first it was really cold, I mean FREEZING! So I walked over to Chris, cause he told me he was warmer then me, so I am standing there looking out the open doors and I said "our journey on the train is almost over," and he looked at me and smiled and said "but we have an even longer journey to go in life", he reached inside his jacket and pulled out the box! My knees felt like jello, not gonna lie! And, well I said yes! Well, all of a sudden I heard clapping and I turn around and half of the compartment is standing there clapping! The even announced it over the intercom on the train!!! I was soooo happy! I love him very much and couldn't ask for anyone better to be sharing my life with!!
